Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We hope that Fanø's beaches can continue to be among the cleanest in the country in 2026 – thanks to you. Here you will find this year's winter update in a short, email-friendly format.

Membership numbers and donations – wild growth!

We are now over 350 members and have received more than 130 donations. Thank you very much! It gives us the strength to keep Fanø's beaches clean all year round.

Deduction for donations (§8A)

As we have previously announced, we are approved according to Section 8A of the Danish Taxation Act, so donations of DKK 200 or more are deductible for the tax year 2025. We will repeat the application in 2026, which is why we need a similar number of donations each year. Send your CPR or CVR number to the association, and we will report to the Danish Tax Agency. LAG support

We have received LAG Fanø support for equipment and activities in 2026. A huge help to plan even more outreach and effective work on the beaches. More on this next year.

Fanø Savings Bank Fund

We have received support from Fanø Sparekasses Fond in connection with the purchase of a "new" car. The board of directors would like to thank you for this contribution.

The collaboration with Esmark

The Esmark collections continued throughout the summer. Guests and locals contributed many kilos of sea debris each month.

Collected sea fall

Since the start of the year, we have collected over 26 tons of marine debris.

Doggy bags – small actions, big impact

Many doggy bags continue to end up in our sea cages. We continue to encourage you to use the containers on the side of our cages for the doggy bags.
